Kimat Designs is a custom framing company with a difference. They specialize in heirloom stitchery, limited edition prints, original artwork and have an exhaustive stock of mats and frames. Their mat designs are unique, creative and often whimsical. Many framing companies will take your finished piece of needlework and simply adhere it to a mat and then frame. Kimat Designs stretch your finished project over an acid free mat, stitch it in place using a lacing technique on the back of the mat, apply your choice of mat, frame and seal. Once sealed the piece is guaranteed to outlast your lifetime. For those of us who do needlework, this extra care and attention to detail is greatly appreciated and is evident in the finished product.
